Premises Manager

Contract Type: Permanent, full time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Working Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (There will be requirement to work flexibly to meet the needs of both schools involving some evening and weekend work)

Salary: Grade 5, SP 21 – 25 (£34,834 - £38,223 per annum)

Start Date: 6th January 2025 – further to completion of all pre-employment checks

Responsible to: Headteachers and Estates & Project Manager USP

We are seeking to appoint a Premises Manager to join these successful and popular schools.

You will be: 

  • responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the premises functions of the school, including compliance, health and safety, procurement in liaison with the Trust.
  • advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, allowing other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.

  • Can work independently but contribute to a strong team ethos
  • Is willing to work flexibly
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting young people
  • Is resilient, hardworking and self-motivated
  • Has experience in property maintenance and repair
