Teaching Assistant
Contract: Permanent, Part time / 27.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 3, SP4 -6 (FTE £23,114 - £23,893 / Actual £14,364 - £14,848)
Start date: 01/12/2023 or As Soon As Possible
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional team of support staff. We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. The contracted hours are 9:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours available according to the needs of the school.
The successful applicant is likely to be working in Key Stage 2, but a final decision will be made based on their skills and experience.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of pupils;
- Undertake a range of specialised tasks to support the learning and development of pupils;
- Promote pupil independence and positive behaviours for learning through a ‘least help first’ approach;
- Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience, including in English and maths, and a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or be committed to working towards this)
