Exam Invigilator
Start Date: 17 October 2022
Contract Type: Casual, fixed term to 31 August 2023
Salary: Grade 2 SP 4 (£10.98 per hour plus accrued holiday pay)
Castle Manor Academy is looking to develop a team of high-quality examination invigilators to cover internal and external exams. Being part of this team will involve supervising examinations to make sure that all regulations are adhered to and helping with related administration such as preparing scripts for dispatch to the examining board. Training will be given in advance of the examination period starting.
No experience is necessary however, invigilators have to be:
- Able to support students in a potentially stressful examination environment
- Punctual, calm, responsible and organised
- Able to work in a position of some authority
The main examination period starts at the beginning of May and finishes at the end of June with other examinations occurring at different times throughout the year. Hours are flexible and most sessions take place between 9.00am and 4.00pm. A position such as this would suit a person wanting part time work at different times in the year.
